Access Policies
Public Access
Anyone with an internet connection may access the published data on the TBDB site. There is no need to sign in to view the public data. These data may be used for further research and analysis as long as the authors of the primary data are cited.
Private Data
Researchers are encouraged to use TBDB as a repository to manage their microarray or RT-PCR data and share it with collaborators. These data will be kept private according to the policy supplied by the agency that funded the generation of the data. Usually, the data are made public at the request of the researcher (user/owner) after publication or intellectual property legalities are resolved.
Entering data or accessing pre-publication microarray or RT-PCR data requires that a user have an account and sign in. If you would like such an account, please contact us.
The privacy policies for data entered under grants funded by the Gates Foundation are currently being defined.
